I started work on CTF-Skybound as soon as I heard that Epic had announced the Make Something Unreal Contest for Unreal3. The purpose behind creating this map was to design a playspace that looks and plays differently than Unreal's standard style. The bright floating islands and blue skies help break away from the dark, claustrophobic interior firefights, while the open spaces and jump-pad chains give the player a sense of freedom and mobility. CTF-Skybound has been downloaded over 2000 times.
I entered it into the MSUC, and it placed in the Top10 for my category in phase1.
